decemberspill asked: I have a 2002 grand am that has a monsoon sound system. I went into circuit city hoping to find an easy fix, such as buying two new speakers and simply plugging them into the mounts where the old ones were. However, they said since it’s a monsoon system it would involve rewiring this and that and tweeters etc. and I have no clue when it comes to audio equipment. Is there a way to just buy something that will plug in the clip in my trunk ceiling that I took my old ones out of?

Kenson asked: I need to know what equipment i need to test efficiency of an amplifier, I know i need dummy loads, a power invertor and oscilliscope. Where is a good place to get the resistors and what are some well regulated power supplies that have selectable voltage (12.5, 13.8, 14.4, etc.), I was looking at VELLEMAN HPS10 for an oscilliscope, seems pretty straightforward to use and I really don’t feel like dropping thousands on the equipment. I want a subwoofer, how many watts should it be and how many watts should the amp be? I need a four channel amp right?
I found a cheap 1000 watt subwoofer but it that to much power? What amp should I get if i was going to run that type of subwoofer along with everything?

elf asked: i need help(wiring diagram) with hooking up a scosche 500k micro farad in my 1986Dodge truck. I have a sony x-plod reciver and a jbl 150×150 bridgable amp;a small alpine 60×60 bridgable amp/ 1 jbl 10″ sub and 2 200watt 6×9, 2 41/2 200watt 3 ways. Will I need the scosche 500k to maintain the power to the sub?

gooner asked: Basically i’m gonna buy a vr4 legnum estate which have a very large boot. I’m gonna have 2 grand to spend on a stereo system . I already own a 1600W sony explode amp and a 15″ kicker sub . I think i can run 1 more sub off the amp but i would like 2 maybe 3 more for some real bass , plus i would like 6 speakers in the car too . Just wondering would i need an amp for the speakers obviously i would need another for the other subs , and what would i do with the car battery would i need a capacitor in the boot or another battery or what ? Any awnsers would be much obliged .
