in Australia its illegal, you must get someones permission to do so, if you are taking a picture or someone or something and their are others in the background then that is fine if it is for personal uses only. other than that then you must get their con cent. in some cases you may need a signature by the person saying that they are allowing you to do so. if taking it to work to catch someone or something, is still illegal, the evidence will not be able to stand up in a court as you have taken it illegally...hope i helped.</description>
