Just keep in mind that any music video you see is lip-synced. They first start with a song that was pre-recorded in a studio. If they are recording a live performance, the camera is connected to the audio mixer. This is why the videos sound so good. You cannot acheive this quality sound with a camcorder or web cam microphone.

Here’s my suggestion. Record your singing first. This way you can concentrate on the quality of your singing. When making the video, lip-sync while the song is playing. This way you can concentrate on your performance. If you prefer a live performance and want quality audio, you’ll need a camcorder that has audio INPUTS. Then you’ll need an audio mixer (with someone who knows how to operate one) and connect the camera to that.

Hope this helps, and good luck!
