Does it hurt audio equipment (cables, microphones, effects pedals, etc.) to be in the car during cold weather?

I play music a lot professionally, I have a tub of cables I usually leave in my car. It generally holds two microphones and a couple of effects pedals, along with numerous cables and incidentals. I leave this in my back-seat pretty much all the time.

I would not ever leave one of my amps in the car or my PA head, but I do leave the tub of cables. In the winter it gets pretty cold in the South (not usually really freezing but cold) and in the summer it gets really hot. Am I risking my gear by leaving it in the car 24-7?

Thanks!!!

I remember when I was 18 (98) just a rockford fosgate amp and a couple of decent competition 12’s would have cost at least a grand. I remember a local stereo builder telling me he could put a “killer” system in my 99 eclipse for about 2500. so my question is has the price of highpowered amps dropped ? it seems it would be so cheap due to online sales like ebay and maybe those are stolen but I am speculating big time
